The usual commercial drying method for herbal extracts is desiccation in an oven at high temperatures. The procedure adopted by Lao Dan to respect the integrity of active principles is to Spray-Dry, an alternative procedure in which the desiccation of the extract is conducted under vacuum at relatively low temperature. The liquid extract is then atomized and put into a drying chamber under controlled atmosphere.
This process reduces the oxidation of the active principles and results in a fine powder, which is easily soluble and highly bio-available.
This process also guarantees a homogeneous distribution of the active principles a highly standardized production, thus ensuring the constant quality of the finished product.
Finally, every single batch of extract approved by Quality Control (Q.C.) is stored in airtight containers that guarantee the conservation of the semi-finished product.
